Scope
This notice describes how Wire Swiss GmbH ("Wire", "we") processes personal data in connection with the developer documentation website at dev.wire.com (the "Site").
The Site is a documentation-only resource for developers building on the Wire Apps SDK. It does not offer account registration, app management, or authenticated services; those functions are provided on separate Wire services (e.g. teams.wire.com), which are covered by their own privacy notices.
For processing relating to the Wire Messenger product, Wire's corporate website, and other Wire services, see theWire Compliance Page. This notice applies only to dev.wire.com.

Applicable law
Wire Swiss GmbH is established in Switzerland and processes personal data in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (revDSG). Where visitors are located in the European Economic Area, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies concurrently by virtue of Art. 3(2) GDPR.

Public GitHub issue tracker
The Wire Apps SDK issue tracker is hosted on GitHub (github.com/wireapp/wire-apps-jvm-sdk/issues). When you post an issue on GitHub, your interaction is governed by GitHub's privacy policy. Wire is not the controller for your GitHub account data; we process the content of issues you post as part of our software maintenance activities.

Cookies and similar technologies
The Site uses only:
- Consent cookie: stores your choice in the cookie banner. Strictly necessary, no consent required.
- Google Analytics cookies: set only after you consent. See section 3.2.
We do not use advertising cookies, session replay tools, heatmapping, or product analytics beyond Google Analytics.
Our cookie banner is provided by the open-source library vanilla-cookieconsent.

Recipients and international transfers
We share personal data only with the processors identified in section 3, each of whom acts on our documented instructions under a data processing agreement.
International transfers to the United States occur in connection with AWS (hosting), Google (analytics, forms), and GitHub (public issue tracker). These transfers are safeguarded by:
- The EU-US Data Privacy Framework and the Swiss-US Data Privacy Framework, where the recipient is certified; and
- Standard Contractual Clauses (Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2021/914) with supplementary measures as a fallback.
A copy of the transfer safeguards is available on request.

Your rights
Under the GDPR and the revDSG, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you;
- Have inaccurate data corrected;
- Have your data deleted;
- Restrict or object to processing;
- Receive your data in a portable format;
- Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal; and
- Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC / EDÖB) or, in the EU, the supervisory authority of your habitual residence or place of work.
